Vermont friends, I am writing to you with some exciting news about an opportunity for you to hear some great music. As you probably know, I have been getting very excited about kids’ music lately, and one of the best groups out there is the Grammy-winning duo from Colorado, the Okee Dokee Brothers. You may have heard their song, “Can You Canoe?” They are fantastic, right?
So anyway, they are working on a new album, writing new music, and going around the country singing their new stuff (as well as all their old good stuff, obviously!) for audiences lucky enough to be within driving distance of one of their shows. And I just found out that they will be coming to Burger Night at Bread and Butter Farm! Long time readers will recall that I spent a summer working Burger Night at the farm, and there is always fabulous music to accompany the unbelievably good food, so it really should come as no surprise that one of the best kindie (kid/indie) bands in the nation will be making an appearance on Monday.
The good news for you is that, because I am friends with Mr. Chris, the Music For Sprouts gang, and the whole rest of the Bread and Butter Farm crew, and because all of you are friends with me, I am able to give away 2 free tickets to this concert, and all you have to do is to check out a few Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. The more of us you check out, the more chances you have to win! I will alert the winner on Monday, and your name will be at the farm when you arrive Monday evening. And if you don’t win, you should still come over, grab a cheeseburger, and enjoy a show your whole family will love.
So to sum up:
