There is a trend that has been happening since the dawn of man in regards to the spacing out of one’s siblings. If you have children, of course you understand the reason for it, but if you don’t have children, you may not know exactly why things happen the way they do.
When people have children, they tend to have them one to three years apart. This means that the mothers become pregnant with their subsequent children when the previous ones are anywhere from a few months old, up until they are around two. However, you will rarely see children that are four years apart in age. Sometimes you do see a larger age gap, of maybe seven to ten years, but almost never four. And the reason for this is very simple.
No person in their right mind that is living with a two or a three year old ever thinks, “We need another one of these.”
Mystery solved. Now if you will excuse me, I need to go get my son’s hand out of the toaster.

LOL. Little guy getting a little rambunctious?
It never ceases to amaze me how MUCH more physical and draining my little guy is, as opposed to the girl. I’m sure she will make up for it in the teenage years.
What amazes me, is those who have twins or triplets, and then more. Clearly brain cells have been compromised…
