Cookies S01E01 – Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate Chip

So as some of you may know, Ruby’s aspiration, at four years old, is to be a chef when she grows up.  Not only a chef, but a celebrity chef with a television show.  This show will be called “Cookies,” and I assume it would involve her making cookies.  I personally believe that we should encourage all of our children’s dreams, at least up to a point, and that they should be able to follow any dream they want until they either succeed, give up, or realize that it was a stupid dream and they are never going to make a million dollars by singing opera.

To that end, I decided to help Ruby make the first episode of her show, mostly because we had 5 pounds of rolled oats sitting around, and also because it was really fun.  I wrote a little music for the beginning, and tried to edit it as best as I could, moving it along when possible, but trying to keep the feeling of what it is like for a four year old to make cookies all by herself on national youtubevision.  So here it is; episode one of “Cookies.”  Ruby would love to know what you think.
